Who is the writer?

me

Fred Durso, Jr. has spent decades obsessing over one decade in particular. He’s currently fighting the good fight as an award-winning journalist working in the nonprofit sector. Music from the ’80s gives him the optimistic jolt needed to ward off any negativity that may try to bring him down (on most days, that is). He is currently on a personal quest to live out the themes and/or lyrics of his favorite ’80s songs. (Read his first post for details.) Fred resides in Boston. Share your love of his favorite decade or any comments on this blog by emailing him.

You say you like any type of music produced in the 1980s. Paul McCartney made music in the 1980s. Just sayin’.

Just read the cell phone post. Danny finally ordered a new phone yesterday. He uses my phone to play words with friends at night and sometimes forgets to put it back on the charger. It drives me nuts! I’m glad that he (and you) finally upgraded. 🙂

Thanks for reading! Glad to hear Danny also bit the bullet and got the upgrade. Speaking of charging, I can’t believe how quickly the battery gets depleted. Another gripe I have with my phone. OK, I’ll stop now 🙂

Good reads Fred. You have an unique journalistic writing style that seems to be a nice mix of a campfire storyteller who possesses a keen attention to detail like a sci-fi genre writer.
